Seiko is
attempting to market itself across different price segments by
launching a line of mechanical mens watches and womens watches. Automatic watches are making a comeback as pieces of heritage and Seiko watches wants to capture this new demand with the launch of Jasmine–a line of women’s watches–and Maestro–a line of men’s watches.
Though the quartz movement still contributes to a
major percentage of Seiko’s revenue, the demand for automatically wound
watches is increasing in the luxury space–particularly for motion-sensor
ones.
Seiko watches
introduced its automatic watches in 2009 and in the past one-and-half
years it has launched 65 mens watch and women’s watch models. It has
‘Ananta’ in the luxury segment and Seiko 5 mechanical
watches in the mid segment. A lot of precision goes into creating a
mechanical watch and so they are considered valuable. This is also due
to the association of self-winding watches with luxury watch
manufacturers like Rolex and Omega.
Here at eWatches we have a broad selection of Seiko watches including the Seiko 5 and other automatic Seiko models.vedere di piu rolex e repliche ferrari
